Installing and Configuring System Drivers in Windows® XP
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Install Chipset utility:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the Chipset folder. Select the Setup icon, click Open and then click OK
  2. Follow the on-screen setup instructions to install the Drivers and Utility. Back to Top

Install Audio driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the Audio folder.
  2. Select the Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted.
  3. Change Speaker type by clicking Start, select Control Panel and then double click on Sound Speech, and Audio icon. Double click the Sounds and Audio Devices at Sound, Speech, and Audio Properties. Click Advanced at Speakers settings, and then change Speaker Setup to 5.1 Surround Speakers   Back to Top

Install Modem driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the Modem folder.
  2. Double click WinXP folder Select the Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish. Back to Top

Install LAN driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the 03LAN folder.
  2. Select the Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish. Back to Top

Install Video driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the Video folder
  2. Select Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted. Back to Top

Install Touch Pad Driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the TouchPad folder
  2. Double click the WinXP folder and select Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted. Back to Top

Install HotKey Application:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the AP_Key folder.
  2. Select the Setup and click Open. Click OK to search for the driver and click Next to continue the installation. Click Finish and click Yes to restart the computer when prompted. Back to Top

Install AutoMail Application:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the AutoMail folder.
  2. Select the Setup and click Open. Click OK to search for the driver and click Next to continue the installation. Click Finish and click Yes to restart the computer when prompted. Back to Top

Install PC Camera Driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Camtel CD disk inserted.
  2. Select the Setup and click Open. Click OK to search for the driver and click Next to continue the installation. Click Finish and click Yes to restart the computer when prompted. Back to Top

Install TV-Tuner Driver:

  1. The setup menu will appears when insert AverTV Studio II CD Disk. Click Install/Uninstall Driver to install TV-Tuner driver. Or Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the AverTV Studio II CD disk inserted.
  2. Double click Driver folder and select Setup icon. Click OK to search for the driver and click Next to continue the installation. Click Finish and click Yes to restart the computer when prompted.   Back to Top

Install TV-Tuner Utility:

  1. The setup menu will appears when insert AverTV Studio II CD Disk. Click AverTV Studio II to install TV-Tuner Utility. Or Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the AverTV Studio II CD disk inserted.
  2. Double click AP folder and select Setup icon. Click OK to search for the driver and click Next to continue the installation. Click Finish and click Yes to restart the computer when prompted. Back to Top

Install Wireless LAN Driver:

  1. Power on the Wireless LAN module by press Fn+F11 keys
  2. Click Cancel if the Found New Hardware Wizard appears.
  3. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Wireless LAN Driver CD disk inserted.
  4. Select Setup icon and click Open. Click OK and then click Next to continue installation and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted.
    • The setup will installed the Wireless LAN driver and Utility. The Wireless LAN User Manual is in Adobe.PDF format, which it was installed during the Wireless LAN setup process.
      • Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then Point at All Programs. Select IEEE 802.11b WLAN Utiltiy (USB) and then click on Use Manual. Back to Top

Install Bluetooth Driver:

  1. Power on the Bluetooth module by press Fn+F12 keys
  2. Click Cancel if the Found New Hardware Wizard appears.
  3. Insert the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk (for Bluetooth only).
  4. Click the Install Drivers and Application Software when the Bluetooth setup menu appears. Or Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk (for Bluetooth only) inserted. Click the bsetup icon and click Open. Click OK and then click Next to continue installation
  5. Click OK when prompt for the Driver Signature Notice. Click Next to continue and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted.
  6. The Found New Hardware Wizard appears after restarting the Windows. Click Next to search for driver. Click Continue Anyway to copy the driver and then click Finish Back to Top
